These bumps can cause severe itching and a burning sensation. The second stage, which can become chronic, consists of the excessive itching causing the skin to become thick, scaly, red and cracked with very large and painful blisters. The most recommended treatment for this condition is the use of corticosteroids, antihistamines and antibiotics if a secondary infection develops.

Strong detergent soaps
Deodorant soaps
Stressful situations
Solvents
Prolonged contact with water
Scratching
Latex or rubber gloves (use cotton whenever possible)
