Foods To Avoid With Eczema
3 Foods to Avoid With Eczema – Learn Them and Cure Your Eczema
There are many different foods to avoid with eczema. I remember when I first started getting eczema, I didn’t really know what was going on, and I definitely didn’t have a clue about how diet impacted my eczema.
When my eczema started spreading from my right elbow to my left elbow, hands, legs and even fingers I decided that it was time to do something about it.
No longer did I want to suffer from eczema and be dependent on steroids to keep my eczema at bay. When the steroids stopped working, I started researching and found that foods could be a large cause to eczema outbreaks.
Here are the foods that had the biggest impact on my eczema, and by eliminating them my eczema almost vanished.
#1 – Sugar
Sugar is one of the most harmful foods on the planet. Sugar literally sucks up and leeches nutrients from your body. It also has a big effect on how my eczema does. If I eat a lot of sugar I get itchy and my eczema comes back, so I’ve eliminated all processed sugar from my diet, and so far it has worked wonders.
#2 – Alcohol
Alcohol is one of many foods to avoid with eczema. It irritates my skin and makes it itchy. Many have trouble giving up alcohol, but try going without it for a few weeks and see what happens.
#3 – Junk Food
This was a biggie for me. I’ve always loved eating hamburgers, hot dogs and pizzas, but I had to cut those out. I noticed a significant improvement once I did this and I hope you do too!
Something else that you have to pay attention to is the climate. If you’re living up north like I am at the moment, your skin will dry and you need to keep moisturizing it every single day.
